The role part

As FE Tech’s Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our brand, driving membership, and generating leads through organic marketing strategies. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will help to develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan that enhances our visibility and positions FE Tech as the go-to marketplace for learning technology solutions.

 

This is a role for someone who thrives on taking action, is hands-on, and enjoys being deeply involved in executing marketing initiatives. You will work collaboratively with leadership, product teams, and external partners to create compelling marketing campaigns, content, and events that showcase our expertise and build strong relationships with our target audience.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy to elevate FE Tech’s brand and drive membership within the further education sector
  • Lead content marketing efforts, including blog posts, video, case studies, and thought leadership pieces to engage decision-makers in the edtech space
  • Manage social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, to drive visibility, engagement, and lead generation
  • Optimise website content and SEO strategies to increase traffic and ensure FE Tech ranks highly in relevant searches
  • Plan, execute, and analyse multi-channel marketing campaigns, with a focus on organic growth through content, partnerships, and community engagement
  • Work closely with the sales team to create marketing assets that support lead generation and advisory efforts
  • Monitor and analyse market trends, competitors, and industry insights to inform marketing strategies and identify new opportunities
  • Continuously explore and implement new marketing technologies, processes, and tools to enhance our organic marketing efforts

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Proven expertise in content marketing, brand management, digital marketing, and lead generation.
  • Knowledge of SEO, website management, and email marketing platforms.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools, CRM platforms, and marketing automation software.
  • Experience managing social media and organic growth strategies.
  • Strong ability to develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives that drive measurable results.
